Therapy Pets for Children and Adults in Medical Facilities
Many clinical studies have shown that visitation by therapy animals in medical settings helps raise the spirits of those enduring long term medical care. Whether they are children or adults, the touch of an animal can relieve boredom and depression. We want to bring the love and compassion of pets to those patients who are undergoing, long term care placement, chemotherapy, cardiac restriction, and long term rehabilitation. Our handlers are there to offer their services as someone to just listen, visit, and offer companionship.

We are a volunteer organization. All donations received go to the medical care, feeding, and transportation of the animals we have taken in and rescued. We also provide visitation to nursing homes, hospice centers, veteran’s hospitals, therapy centers, and children’s medical facilities. There are many costs involved in running an organization of this type and we rely primarily on donations and contributions.

Daily, twenty-two warriors lose their lives to suicide; thousands of unwanted dogs are euthanized; and 53% of prisoner’s relapse and return to the prison system.
Our program is aimed at changing these statistics in our state. Our program takes those unwanted dogs from high-kill shelters, moves them into the prison program (non-violent offenders) where prisoners can train them and learn skills for the outside world while boosting their confidence. The trained dogs then go to start their job as a therapy/family companion.
Our Veterans will want for nothing as all food and routine medical care will be provided at no cost.
The 3P Program knows that with each dog saved, the life of a prisoner and the life of a Veteran are changed forever.

This is Faith. She is a 7-month-old Doberman Pinscher who has suffered greatly at the hands of poor backyard breeding, so much so that the breeder was going to euthanize her once he realized she was not going to make him any money.
EMERGENCY MEDICAL FUNDS NEEDED
You see, due to poor breeding, Faith was left blind. After further testing, we have also discovered that she has Von Willebrand’s Disease which is a blood disorder that prevents her blood from clotting. Since we have caught it at such a young age, we can keep a close watch on it. This will be important should she sustain an injury or require a surgery. It will be a costly procedure because her blood does not clot normally. A close watch always must be kept on her due to her disease.

A Non-Profit 501(c)(3) Organization
Her care will be ongoing throughout her life for however long that may be. We are asking for donations to help pay Faith’s medical bills. We are currently into her care for approximately $3,000 and know that there will be more as this is a disease that will affect her for her entire life. We are hoping to raise enough funds to help with her care and to have on hand for her future medical needs.

She is in a permanent foster situation with an experienced foster that is allowing her to experience life and what it is like to be a puppy. This little girl is going to have the best life that she can and will be under the compassionate care of our Veterinarian at Aliante Animal Hospital. Faith has many challenges ahead of her. She is in a loving and caring home where she is being treated like the special angel that she is.
